『クリエイティブ・ヘルス:健康とウェルビーイングに寄与する芸術活動』の要約版

This Japanese booklet is a translation of the Short Report of the Inquiry Report Creative Health: The Arts for Health and Wellbeing published by the All-Party Parliamentary Group in Arts, Health and Wellbeing (APPGAHW) in the UK in 2017.

The Inquiry Report presents findings from two years of research, evidence gathering, and discussions with stakeholders such as patients, healthcare professionals, social welfare professionals, and concerned local government officials and lawmakers. It provides statistics and data supporting the idea that art can significantly contribute to addressing numerous challenges faced by current medical and social welfare systems. Furthermore, the case studies in this report demonstrate how art interventions can maintain people’s health, accelerate recovery from illness, support those suffering from chronic diseases, and enhance quality of life. While the case studies are from the UK, they offer valuable insights that are applicable to Japanese society.

The original reports, both the Inquiry Report and the Short Report are available on the web page.

The report’s Japanese version was translated by the National Center for Art Research, Japan (NCAR).  It is also available for download online at the NCAR website.
